Can anyone tell me about pixel submission in SEO and how can get any back-links by submitting my website to pixel submission sites.

    Pixel submission is a type of URL submission method by purchasing pixels from other websites. Pixel submissions is posting your ad as free or paid as pixel ads sites(small and big images). There are many pixel submission sites available in search results. In which we can submit the banner of our website. And then we can get link on our banner from particular website. Pixel submission is a feature for getting links on our banner. It's worthless..it's nothing more than purchasing a pixel (or an image) that's an alt link...it's in the same category as link farms (a page with a bunch of non relevant links and nothing more) extremely invaluable...I would suggest to stay away...far away.

    There are few sites who sell their home page or internal pages. The method is such that every pixel of that page is sold for a very low price like say 1 $. When you buy that pixel, your link is placed on that pixel.

    By this way you earn an incoming link from a home or popular page. The site owner sell thousands of such pixels to multiple people and earn 1000s of dollars.

    However since there are a large number of OBL from one page, the benefit passed to you is minimum. Many people still prefer to buy from such domains. It is a personal choice to go for such techniques but I will prefer not to fall for such methods, benefit is not much.

    Is it really helpful to get the ranking of the site? I had seen most of the pixel submission sites which are nofollow. So what are the benefits of pixel submission except getting visitors.
