  Yes, by creating pages in Squidoo you can get backlink to your website. For that you need to write quality content then pad your keywords and give link for that text. You can use <a href> tag while giving link for that keyword.

  yes very helpful..if your squidoo page is useful or unique..then there are chances of getting it indexed by google. you can check this squidoo http://www.squidoo.com/millionpixels ...this is indexed by google on the day i created it....it will give you backlinks as well as website traffic ...create more and more squidoo unique pages and submit it to google..it will surely help you in website or business promotion
