I am changing the niche of my blog quite a bit just so that the niche is more focused and only has the best quality content that myself and my readers care about. I have 120 posts indexed in Google and with this change I need to get rid of almost 50 of them that are irrelevant.
Here's my question: Should I just delete all of these posts that I no longer want or should I 301 redirect them to the homepage or other pages?
Their niche is a bit far off from what I will be focusing writing on so it does not make sense to keep them. Likewise none of them hardly get any traffic, except from Google bots and are literally on the last pages of SERPS. However a few of them have some really nice and valuable do follow backlinks pointing to them.
