keyword density is the most important on-page element of SEO.The keywords matters a lot in web page content. Well keyword density is according to web site content. These are two types/formulas of keyword density i.e. keyword density with respect to content and other is keyword density with respect to text. But proper keyword density is 2 to 3% and not exceed from this limit.other wise search engine spam your site content if it has too many keywords at one place.

Proper use of Keyword density in web content will generate good SERP in search engine.

    Hello Friends..........

Keyword density is important because search engines use this information to categorize a site's theme, and to determine which terms the site is relevant to. The perfect keyword density will help achieve higher search engine positions. Keyword density needs to be balanced correctly (too low and you will not get the optimum benefit, too high and your page might get flagged for “keyword spamming”).

    Thanks

Keyword density is a combination of the number of times a word or phrase in comparison with other words that appear on a Web page. The more times the word appears with the total number of words on the page, the higher density of keywords together.

It is the percentage of keyword or phrase appears on a web page compared to the total number of words on the web page.

The formula to calculate your keyword density on a web page is

    (Sk / Tk) * 100
Where Sk is how many times a specific keyword is repeated and Tk the total words in the text.

The percentage that a specific word on a page is used on that given page. For instance, in my first sentence the word "page" would have a keyword density of 13% because it was used twice in the toal of 15 words in the sentence.

When checking keyword density you should note that it needs to stay within maybe 3%-5% on the page. Anything less may not indicate any real significance, and going above (definitely over 7%) becomes a bit spammy.

    hi sir
Online advertising leader Google Inc. said Friday it would help make it less lucrative to tie up millions of Internet addresses using a loophole and keep those domain names from legitimate individuals and businesses.Over the next few weeks, Google will start looking for names that are repeatedly registered and dropped within a five-day grace period for full refunds.
    thanks

Keyword density is very important to on-page SEO. Keyword density is basically the percentage (%) of the amount a specific keyword is used on a specific webpage versus the overall rest of the content.

Typically you want 5-10% for keyword density per page as per Google's webmaster tools.

Search engines utilize web crawlers or spiders, if you will. These spiders crawl through your webpage's code. First looking to <meta> data for title, description, keywords, etc and then looking at your actual content to see just if your <meta>keywords are reinforced by your actual content's keyword density.

For example, say you own a flower shop in Detroit specializing in rare orchids. Say you got a super-rare order of "funky monkey" (fake name for narrative purposes) and you want to create a product page informing flower enthusiasts about how cool this rare orchid is and why they should be buying from you. Your <meta>keywords should include the flowers name, your shop name, orchids, Detroit (you should already have a local listing with Google for local online advertising - it's free, why not?), and any other keyword not to exceed 8-10 per webpage. Then load your webpage's content with those keywords you selected as well as all of the information a potential customer would need to persuade them that you are the local orchid expert and they should buy from you and only you!

Its a percentage or ratio of the amount of your keyword as a proportion of the whole body text. Essentially this needs to be around the 2%-3% of the content for Gooogle to realise what your site's about!

Represents the frequency these keyword words appear in a page or in an area of a page. It is a critical issue for search engine ranking-the more often the keyword or phrase appears in a page, the higher its search engine ranking. .
