What would be in my best inrested to purchase and give me the ability to rank:

naplesrealestate.org
naplesrealestate.us
Naples-Realestate.com (I am trying to acquire but don't believe the owner will sell)

Right now the person who owns naplesrealestate.com is ranked #1 in Google, Bing, and Yahoo. Would I stand a chance to compete and rank on the first page?

    Dear Sir.
    -Domain always must be based on following factors
    1) Geo-graphic location based
    2) Keywords/Products/ Services based
    3) Domain extension based -
    Market value of doman-extensions :
    .com - International market based
    .us- USA market based
    .co.uk- UK market based
    .org - Called an Organization and can not use for Business Purpose but in some laws you can use. It needs to verify with country based business laws.
    .biz - business market based.
    .net - Its really a unique extension which can be used in multiple methods based


    So, I prefer to say - If your market is USA based then
    Go for- .us / .biz or .net is best.


    Domain name - extension is really not important many times. there are any names which are most popular and have big market but they dont have any meaning, for example- facebook.com - - i.e. uniquness in words and SEO work- Promotions, Internet marketing concepts must be implemented on domain.

    A good research and market standard research is also important in domain selection.
    Extension is really not much important but effects somehow.

    It sounds as if my best bet would be to go with the .us because my business in based in the US. I would consider the .net, but they want almost $10,000 for the name. Do you believe with the proper SEO work I would be able to show up on the first page of Google, Bing, and Yahoo? As I mentioned before, NaplesRealEstate.com already shows up in the first pages of all those search engines. Will search engines show both NaplesRealEstate.com and .us on the same page?

    I may have the opportunity to acquire NalplesFloridaRealEstate.com. If you were to advise me as to what I should I should purchase would you suggest NalplesFloridaRealEstate.com or NaplesRealEstate.us.
