Well, all we know that forums are good for learning, you can discuss anything in forums if you have any doubt, question, you can get solutions by others on that matters.

However, if we talk about in terms of earning good money from forums how do you do it, are you earning from forums or are you able to promote your brand name, services, products in forums?
What is your opinion about it?

yes that is nice information
i also prefer forums because of signatures and i join those forums who allow signaturs in first time to the users.

Forum posting is beneficial for upgrade knowledge through discussion but if we show marketing point of view than it is helpful to get back links by putting our website links in signature and also in profile.

In my opinion Forum posting is considered as a most helpful seo method to get relevant visitors, we need to find relevant forum where people can put their query and discuss about it. If you are looking for traffic then you must add your link in signature part. Forums are very useful for earning money and promote the brand and product.
