Maximum number of characters in Meta tags

  Yeah. In my own experience, I try to limit my meta title into at least maximum of 6 words, but at least it should be catchy and straight to the point, or interesting as well. For meta description, limit it into 100 words maximum, and not less than 50 words. For keywords, it actually depends on the page. But for deep pages, you can use long-tail keywords of at least maximum of 3. Then if you are going to put meta keywords in shallow, you could use keywords up to 5.

  desc - Google about 155 characters.
  Keywords-on deprecated spam.

  Title tag should be within 60 - 65 characters.
  Description Tag should be within 155 characters.
  You can use two or three Keyphases on Meta Keyword Tag.

  Recently I read an interesting article on title length that it is limited by the pixel size of the title as you may have noticed on some results … called eclips and last couple of characters bring down. So, the legit limit is 70 characters for title and 160-165 character for description with not more than 3-4 keywords.

  According to me, your Page Title should be maximum 65 characters and meta description should be maximum 250 characters.
