What is the difference between Save and Save As?

    save --> save over the current already saved filename. Say u have already save the file under the name "abc.pdf". And then u start editing the file here and there. If u click "save" again, the modify file will be saved under the same filename "abc.pdf".

    save as--> save the file as another filename. Again, say u have already saved the file under the name "abc.pdf". U modify the file and wish to save it under another filename "cde.pdf". That is when u click "save as".

    Agree to berlinda. Simply whenever you want to save your edited document in different place in different name then you've to click 'save as' and when you want want keep that in original format then you've to click 'save'.
