    those site don't really gather links.. they are what they call authority sites and most of their backlinks are natural links.. which means someone just link to them..

    I agree with Bogs, you can't get backlinks from some of the listed sites. Although, the list is about PR 9 sites it isn't that helpful spamming links in SEO.

    thats very nice to see the list of pr9 sites, but isn't it that most of them are do not follow sites, i don't think that we can get back links from these sites :-)

    You can get backlinks from these sites, quality ones, you just need to figure out how to approach and present yourself... you can always ask for any advertising options, promotions, offer to do a survey, interview, promote a non-profit cause... think of something to approach them and deliver, in return you can get a quality do-follow backlink.

    Try with this, find contact info, maybe look around facebook and twitter and follow someone that works on those sites, a journalist, a student, anyone that can get you a backlink. If you want a good backlink from these sites you will have to work for it, trust me :)

    That was a nice suggestion. Although it takes time and a whole lot of effort. Promotions can speed things up a bit but that is if the website is accepting promotional links or related stuff.
