  • As far as I know, the better way of link building is doing one way link building and getting the links as well. If you try other ways of getting links then it wont work for you that much. Google give preference to one way links only and it do consider very reputed links.
  • I suggest to stick with one way link but if your are really into 3 way link you can use your blog on doing it.
  • Link exchanging is a very controversial topic,,many experts support it while many bash it is a black hat technique. My take it link exchage is that yes you should do link exchange but not very often and always research the website you are linking of in terms of backlink history. Also keep a tab on the activity of the website so that you can know if they are engaging in any black hat techniques...
  • A three way link is exactly like a reciprocal link except that instead of using two sites to exchange links, you use three sites. For example, site A links to site B, but not B to A. So, site B is only receiving a one-way link from site A and NOT linking back to it. Likewise, site C and site A are linked from one site but not linking back. Instead, site C and A are simply reciprocal-linking to different domains.

This type of link exchange is best done when you have a new website and you want to have a good page rank as soon as possible. This is done when you have your own two website out of which one has already many back links and page rank and the other don't have back links and even not have page rank. You put a link to another site on the website that has already many back links and/or page rank and in return, your link exchange partner will put a link of your site that doesn't have any page rank yet.

So please make sure while link exchange that you have choose a good and well optimized website to swap links.
