    Everything I've seen agrees with this. You want to leave comments on relevent blogs to your niche. just go to Google and search "MYNICHE Blog" and replace myniche with your relevent keywords.

    NEO is SOOOOOO right... add value to the discussion on someone's blog. As a blog owner, it's very obvious to tell that someone is just spamming you.

    They usually say things like 'I liked this site, I bookmarked you.....' but never say anything about the actual post. So be sure to look at the content and say something meaningful!

    If you want to find do-follow blogs here what I have been using for some time now, the free version works great as well.

    google search = "G lock blog finder" - its works like a charm!

    Blog commenting is one of the best method of achieving quality traffic and high PR.But it only provide link juice to only that links which are dofollow having high PR and belongs to your niche.So commenting on any site doesn't help in improving your rank but may provide traffic.

    I agree. I feel for blog owners because I too maintains a different kinds of blogs which is spammed everyday by either auto-submitters or humans. If people want to comment try posting relevant comments that also has something in it to be discussed and not spammy comments that mostly are irrelevant to the subject or topic discussed.

    Hello, it seems that one of my blogs has made it to your list. While I welcome all comments I delete all the ones that do not follow my comment policy. As you know, getting your comment approved on a dofollow blog has certain advantages, and one would think that putting a bit of effort into your comment so that it did not get deleted would be worth your while.

    SEO aside leaving quality comments will lead to an increase in traffic as people follow your link back to your site to see who exactly is behind the comment.

    A simple trick that I think a lot of people completely skip over is to just dig through comments you find on a few of the blogs you frequent. You'll often find other bloggers that have high pr blogs that are being active so if you click over and find that you can leave a comment than you're likely to have a relevant blog to leave your keyword and link on.

    For me Blog commenting is effective for gaining backlinks but it is not only the way to rank your site in search engine. There are more link building techniques that must be considered and use.:)

    I think we should not comment in blogs randomly. We should comment only in those blogs which are in the same niche as our site. Backlinks from high PR, DoFollow pages which are in the same niche have great effect on SEO.
