What does this mean and how come my website doesn't have it?

My site comes up in Google when I type the full URL and I have been paying for tons of SEO work recently from 'experts' but whenever I enter my website into the rank checker over at seocentro it keeps saying I am not placed which I don't understand because when I try other random websites they are all placed with a nice green 'yes'. How do I get my website placed?

I believe the rank checker you are using simply checks your Google "pagerank." Pagerank is a link analysis algorithm that was a lot more important in years past and not so important now days. If your site is fairly new then you likely will not have any pagerank associated with the domain until you increase the number of quality inbound link to your site. This will get you "placed" as referred to in this tool.

A better way to determine if the SEO work you have been paying for is working would be to check the rankings of the keywords that you are targeting for the site. If you're showing up in the first few pages of Google for these terms then that is a good sign. Next you'll want to look at the traffic that is being generated to your site as a result of these rankings which you can do through Google Analytics.

I hope this helps answer your question.

Why you bother about this tool. Check your ranking in Google and see what you got. If you have decent ranking than leave this tool who cares about it.
