Drop in traffic after the Penguin update?

After the recent penguin update by Google around a month ago, what amount of negative drop in traffic have you seen?

    We saw a drop in our Google PageRank from 2 to 1, and our site went from page 1 to page 3. We are not sure how much of this attributable to Penguin, as we had not been actively working on our site during that period of time due to some pressing family matters. However, about a month or two prior to Penguin, we had contacted with a link-building service.

    @icvcray - I would assume that the reason for the fall in PR and the site's listing moving from 1 to 3 is mainly because of the penguin update. Since you contacted a link builder a few weeks ago, they must have placed a number of backlinks with your targeted keywords and after the penguin update (which mainly discredited link exchange, link farms, reciprocal linking, etc.) the value of these links decreased substantially getting your site's PR to 1 and sending it further in the SERPs.

    It may because of the reason that penguin avoid back links from low rank site.
