How can i choose keywords for my site

Hi all,
My name is Ankit i am new in SEO. I am facing the problem to decide the keywords for my site i am checking keyword traffic through to the google adwords keyword tool but i have doubt is this enough to specify keywords for the site. Hi Ankitbill, This is sourabh here, the high traffic u can generate only after choosing exact keywords, but if you will chose high competition keywords then it will take some time to generate the organic traffic for your website, as the highly competition keywords are already been optimized by different players. But in long terms it will sure help you.

Thanks to all for your suggestions.
But now i am watching a new problem in google adword tool. When i am checking most related keyword searches for my site www.stoneexperts.in for world level competition there is a same results for india level and world level now what is this i am confused. Please help me.

There is a problem with google adwords when i search competitive keywords for my site www.stoneexperts.in i saw adwords showing same searches for world level and india level. I am getting confused.
