  Yes, definitely, Videos are pretty helpful in improving your SERP rankings.
  Moreover videos are very good from visitors standpoint. Videos are more engaging and comprehensive to users.
  
  But, do not expect huge success from one or two videos... You have to embed a good number of videos (which may be expensive for low budget websites). Once you integrate videos in your website, add video Sitemap so that Google display your videos in the search results and redirect the user to your website for full playback.
