  On my opinion that there is no limit. You may submit whatever you want to one day. But keep in mind, the approval of the directory can not be obtained immediately. Moreover submission to directory for free. Approval can be for days, even monthly.

  There is no limit for directory submission , forum posting etc or link building process. But keep in mind try to do in proper niche so that the result will come easily.

  I think have not limit for links per day, but should not do too much(more 1000 backlinks) per day.

  i don't think there is a limit.. besides there is no assurance that google will crawl and index it in just one day..

  No thers no limit of direct submissions, if u want up site not to be indexed in goole first page , its more than enough. But in the case if you want your site to be indexed in first page you should go on submitting all the techniques for 2 months any one can assure you for you site result

  There is no limit to submit directories and social bookmarking but, the question is, if you do it all together in one day, what about future? And Google may suspect you use black hat strategy in link building.

  Their is no limit but if you create many back-links in a day then it will look fishy to search engines and link building will not be natural so it's better to concentrate on quality rather than quantity of links.Their are some good strategies of link building

  No there is no limit for doing these things as links from directories don't get approved in one day. But be fair while doing website link exchange to escape the Goolge eyes.

  no limits, but getting too many backlinks within a short period, google will mark u as spam...

  There is a limit for everything. Posting 1000 links in one day is too much and may alert Google. Keep your link building as natural as possible. 15-20 links per day worked for me.
