Hi,
On a very strong keyword for our business, Google shows our website on top rank. But the actual page on top is not the homepage but an internal informational page. We want the home page to be displayed there instead.
What is the best method to do it? Is 301 redirect a solution here?
Thank you in advance,
Cheers!

while SEO you have to concentrate on your index page. Make a link from index page to the informative page. And start
optimizing the index page with that keyword. And also give link from that page to the index page.

Off Topic Disagree Agree Like1, Page which performs well is indexed by the search engine as such so is considered to be the most relevant page to that
search term.
2, Not sure if a redirect via 301 will pass on any page rank I suspect not. Using a 301 to serve up the home page might just annoy visitors
as they would not reach the result they thought they were going to. i.e is home page content as relevant to that search term.
3, Use internal link structure to pass on any page rank.
