Can i post articles not related to my website in order to increase my google SEO rankings?

hii..i own a website. i want my website to be at the top of the google SEO. i was told that in order to get my site at the top, i need to post articles to different sites.my question is..can i post articles not related to my website in order to increase my google SEO rankings?

According to me, you should not, you should post only that type of article with quality content which is related to your website theme. because after penguine update "Quality Content is King."

getting a backlink from an article whose content is entirely different from the content of your site is absolutely useless as far as google is concerned. Even if you use an anchor text related to the content of your site in order mislead google search engine, its of no use. Google overcame this technique way back. My suggestion would be that you a write an article on any topic which is related to the content of your site and submit it. It might help a bit with google. All the best.

Google gives much value on the RELEVANCY of the site's content on its niche. So posting irrelevant articles on your site will not help increase your keyword rankings in SERP. If I were, just provide your site with related, interesting and informative content. This will not just help your to increase your rankings in google but also make your site more credible and reliable for your visitors.
