Need Advice How To Recover My Site

I've got a site which is about 5 years old. It was affected by Google Panda or Penguin update. It disappeared from Google search results under its main keywords. I have no idea what to do because I have checked the links, I update the content, i have never used black SEO for promotion, everything is done manually and thoughtfully. There is hardly any improvement after 2 moths of compete absence from Google under a pair of important keywords. Any ideas, advice? I'll be very grateful.
