One of my SEO partner is experimenting with site-wide links post penguin update.
Well, here is the site: http://mycitybest.wordpress.com. You'll find a lot of websites in site-wide links under Blogroll in left side.
Let's take one of those site for example i.e., http://50lappen-tema.se/ which is in anchor text "50 Lappen". Do you see that?
Now, If I search the links pointing to http://50lappen-tema.se/ in google, it's not showing the site mycitybest.wordpress.com. I tried all the permutations, nothing works. It's same for all the sites in site-wide links, no link is counted by google.
Any suggestions/opinions?
Thanks

If you see "ref=nofollow"' then google can't see those links.

Well, from your post, I understand that if a page is crawled, all the links should show up unless it's spammy, isn't?
If tat's the case one of my website is suffering from another website's sitewide links. It's been more than 2 months now and their site wide links are showing still though that looks spammy too.
And let me say it again, i'm testing only with my clients' sites and their rankings are not dropped because of it yet.
