  Both are best way to promoting your website on internet.
  
  
  Article submission is usually submitted in article directories with unique content, keyword, title and use of anchor text in your resource box. Many article directories website approve the article at submitting, so it’s good advantage to compare directory submission.
  
  
  In directory submission web master use website name, details, link. So in the directory website there are thousands of directory website are used, you can also get back link form that directory website. Many directory website approve directory submission after long time and some days, so it is disadvantage of directory submission.

  Hi guy, article submission is better. On the aspect of content, it is more relevant. And it must be the dofollow link. Its shortcoming is: you have to spend some time on writing articles with quality.
  
  Directory submission is more passive which you dont know whether your site could be approved and timesaving.

  I think the article submission is the best thing...bt in SEO we cant depend one 1 thing. You have to do all for continues..to high your rank in google.

  Yes I completely agree with you.We can't depend on one thing only in SEO.Everything is very important for top position in all search engine.

  Both submissions is good i think. We need to provide unique content in article. Then only our article get high rank. Both submissions is good because both get number of visitors to our site and rank.

  This is an controversial issue; but many people vote to article submission; however, I would like to explain a little here. Article submission, in fact, has log term positive effects in contrast to directory submission and directory submission in a large volume is needed to find noticeable result as well.
  
  I cannot think either one myself for my website; hence for the new website I recommend directory submission first and then article submission as article submission is not that simpler one.

  Thanks. I'm now doing directory submission and I found that it's much easier than article submission. :)
  I'm just don't know that all that link can be found by google or not and give some value to my site.

  Hi if only talk about the article and directory submission than articles submission is the best, but directory submission is also very good for backlins and keywords ranking.
