  There could be many reasons for that! Sudden drop in the sense, may be because of Panda update, because recent update gives more priority to content... Try to put some new unique content.. In next Algorithm your Rank may get updated..

  Maybe due to google PR updating in running month.
  spam backlinks are any big reason of that.

  Use copyscape to check whether your website content is original or not, check whether your neighbors sharing the same IP are linkfarms as these factors influence the PR of the site.

  Page Rank is based on the number and quality of inbound links. Page Rank is not dependent on the content of your website, especially the standard on page SEO pieces of content like Page Title. Making these changes is not what decreased your Page Rank.

  now when you do reciprocal means your website rank is 5 & reciprocal website has 4 or 5 then you will not get benefits...
  
  when reciprocal is penalized then your website get effect in link building as well page rank... but mostly you can see the result in page rank.....

  don't worry about page rank.. it doesn't matter to get in rank or back in rank.. but mostly you need to do change is content you content make problems for your website.. like page rank or may be ranking & more....
  
  second you can do that... page load time.. is so much high... so you have to work on that after content change.. you will be back in market....

  PR is an indiciation of the number of quality links which point to your site, the only way to fix would be to increase the number of quality links to your site. I have noticed a PR update as my website homepage went from PR 2 to 4.

  Google decreases the Page rank of those penalized website as it has updated to a new algorithm. Maybe there are some issues in your website that Google doesn't want that's why they take you down to PR 2.
