I've only had my latest site up and running for a few weeks. It's a solicitors site and needs to be able to be accessed using obvious key words. The site is called christinesharp.co.uk.
I've done everything right (I think) to ensure the key searches I need are reflected in the copy, in site description, in meta titles/ descriptions etc for each key search term I am after. Yet my site doesn't show up on google. I don't understand.
The terms I am looking at to find my site are, for example, 'divorce heywood' or 'conveyancing heywood' or such like. I have looked at source code on the sites that show up and see little difference, but they show up and I don't.
If anyone has time and can give me advice, can they either look at my source code and see what I am doing wrong, or at least give me some advice on how to improve things. I am using Wordpress and the SEO Light plugin, which is pretty straightforward and does alter titles as I have checked.
The site is pretty copy heavy (compared to my competitors) although they have been up and running a lot longer than me and I am doing a lot of live changes to the site. Is that a factor?
Thanks
