Default Page punished

    Hi there.

I wonder why whenever I put something new on my blog (blogspot), the page is indexed on the day of posting, and it is showing up in the first place in google results with the precise key words, when it is not in the first position, it appears at least elsewhere in the first page, but always on the first page but then, on another day, when I go searching on google again about the page, it no longer appears, suffers punishment - 30 (less thirty position) Why does this happen?

An example is this post: http://bibliotecabiblica.blogspot.com/2009/12/cristologia-da-carta-aos-filipenses.html (I am from Brazil, it is a portugues blog)

When I first published it, it appeared in the first position on the first google page, using the related key words, but now is punished, although it is indexed by google... What's wrong with this page for it to be punished?

What am I doing wrong in my blog? This happens very often ... what am I doing wrong?

Thanks all and sorry for my english.

I would imagine that its down to the freshness vs authority calculation that google does, when you first publish the blog post google is ranking it well because its deemed as new fresh content, however it drops after a few days because the domain overall doesnt have much authority. The way to get round this is to consistantly publish new fresh unique content on the site. As more people find it you will get more links, and then earn some authority, which will help the pages rank for longer.
