The title says it all, what do you think?
Interested in your thoughts.
It seems to be a correction of the last update, plenty of sites that I monitor have returned to their old pagerank values.
For instance, this site's PR has gone: 5-6-5
SEOmoz.org has gone 7-6-7
lots of sites are returning to their previous values.
by the way, Ive moved this thread, because its not exactly "feedback" is it![]()
Interesting - I think it stands to reason that the last PR update has been rolled back. Im yet to see an example of any site that has earned a promotion in the last one, then kept it.
Having said that, I do have a list of a few hundred sites that have all dropped in this update from a PR4 to a PR1. Before the last update they were PR3's. Therefore they all went 3-4-1.
Anybody seen anything like 1-2-2 or 2-3-3 etc?
well ive had two websites go from PR 0-3-3 and another two 0-2-2 and only one has dropped 2-3-2 just hope the stay like that or improve next time
My main site has been 0-3-3. So far, so good.
I do my best to be ethical and actually provide quality content. This is not easy when I see competitors on page 1 of Google who drop to PR0, while I sit on page 2 with a PR3.
It's also very frustrating when the sites which are blatantly against Google SE policy just stay right up there on top (even after repeated attempts at reporting their tactics).
Okay, I won't rant forever. Just had to get it off my chest for now.
I believe that this must be a real update, because some of my sites have genuinely increased in PR from a previous lower value. I have two sites that was PR2 which rose up to PR3. There were also some sites of mine that went down in PR, and some sites regained the same values before the previous update. Not sure why Google is updating PR in such a very short span of time, however.
