Thread: Signature Permissions Reset

Hi Folks,

We have made a few site updates over the weekend, and changed some rules regarding signatures.


SITE UPDATES:

1) The Questions and Answers section: Now includes a "rate this answer" function so that you can vote the best responses to any thread, and they will appear as the first response. Equally, if you vote a response is bad, it will fall down the rankings, go check it out!

2) VIP Section Added: We have launced a special VIP membership level, which has lots, and lots of added benefits, including priority access, private area's, far better signature allowance and much more.[URL="http://seoforums.org/feedback-suggestions/4491-new-vip-membership-seoforums-org.html"] Read more about that here.[/URL]

3) SEO TOOLS section updated: We have overhauled the SEO Tools section to be inline with the rest of the site update, and we are launching two new tools over the next two weeks, including a 360 SEO dashboard, which we are really excited about. The update to the tools section was necessary to allow the development of these new tools to be completed.

CHANGES TO SIGNATURES:

In line with our site updates this weekend, you need to reset your signature now:

if you do not do so, your signature will be deleted in the next few days, so please make sure you do it immediately.
If you wish to upgrade your signature, you can do so by becomming a VIP member.


When we built this forum a little over a year ago, it was our aim to do things a bit differently to other forums, and we firmly beleive that we have managed to build a community that is better than the rest, and I would like to personally thank all our members for continuing to make this be the best SEO forum on the 'net!

no live links on sig?!

I am unable to find how we need to reset the signature. Have you disabled any live link on this forum for general members?

Not the case, you CAN have signature links, you just cant have great big bold text, colours or images unless you are a VIP member.

Any sig links that were just plain text with links, and under 250 characters are unaffected. Any that included images/colours etc. will be affected.

Currently we don't have permission to use the Link BB code, which means we can't have links.

Will fix that ASAP, as you might have noticed, Ive been having some server issues today though - which take priority (because the site was dead for a while...)

will check it out as soon as I can get the server loads under control though...

and do we need 50 posts to ad a signature? I tried to change the link but it says that i don't have permission to use signature unless i reach 50 posts?

Im resetting all the signature requirements right now, that should be at 20 posts, but I am considering raising it to 50 to reduce the spam posts.

Hi iamacyborg,

that permission has now been globally updated, and you should be able to re-add your sig link,
