Does Yahoo & Bing follow different strategies for indexing???? Other then Google...

Both are merged into one, yahoo is powered by Bing and Microsoft has stopped some of Yahoo services and integrated it with theirs.

Yeah, yahoo is powered by bing so if you optimize for one, you'll hit them both.

Yes, I see always which site is showing in first page in google, that site is not showing in yahoo are bing that position...

Yahoo isn't really a search engine anymore, they've basically stepped out and have made themselves a social/media based site. Google has tons of features, has a simple interface, and despite Microsoft's ad campaign, it usually returns adequate results in a wide range of categories. Bing, Microsoft's brainchild engine, is both powerful and more aesthetically pleasing; however, search results can come back completely off base due to Microsoft's algorithms. 1st place: Google 2nd: Bing 3rd: Yahoo

okayo0 actually hit it right on. Yahoo! despite still having that search engine bar, is actually repurposing itself as a news site of some sort. It started moving away from the search engine space as Friendster and Multiply did because of Facebook. It just can't compete with Google anymore.

Yes, yahoo and bing have different strategies than google. If you can get links from social network sites then you can easily get ranking on yahoo search engine.

I thinks Bing and yahoo merge process is over because i see recently news yahoo closed site explorer and used Bing explorer.

I think with facebook backing bing up google might have some competition, if you log out of facebook now there is a huge bing ad......

I like yahoo more then bing because it is little easer to get backlink from it
