If you are asking that question then it may be worthwhile hiring a PPC management firm to get you going.

There is a mountain of information, statistics and knowledge being just Google Adwords alone.

You should start by signing up to Google Adwords (just type it into Google), enter your billing info and try to create a campaign. Use Google Help for help on the basics.

Just for info the useful terms are:

    - PPC = Pay Per Click
    - SEM = Search Engine Marketing
    - CCR = Click Through Rate
    - CPC = Cost Per Click
    - CR = Conversion Rate

YOu should learn the conversion rate for your sit e so You easily calculate your budget. If you need to sell before the birth of 50 visitors to give you the profit of 10 yuan, which means you can pay up to $ 0.20 per click, and then began to lose money. I like to start with a small daily budget to test the conversion rate, depending on your chosen keywords. Once you understand this, you can calculate the maximum cost per click, you can afford to pay, and from there, you should never lose any money.

Pay per click (PPC) is an internet advertising model used on websites, where advertisers pay their host only when the ad is clicked. With search engines, advertisers typically bid on keyword phrases relevant to their target market. Content sites commonly charge a fixed price per click rather than use a bidding system.

It is true that conversions rates are VERY important when it comes to PPC advertising. Anyone might be paying $0.01 per without getting sign-ups. Other could pay $1.00 and to get to get a lot of customers.

I'm agree with all the above said. I think you got pleanty with those comments. But put in mind that PPC is missing bulk of the traffic, less trusted, expensive and complicated that is why I'm not using it.

Advertisers bid on "keywords" that they believe their target market (people they think would be interested in their offer) would type in the search bar when they are looking for their type of product or service.

PPC stands for "pay per click". Pay per Click is an advertising model where businesses pay an agreed upon amount, each time their advertisement is "clicked", not each time their ad is displayed. Advertisers typically setup ppc on a PPC network and define how much they are willing to spend for each click-through that they receive.
Advertisers select keywords, keyword phrases, keyword groups, or categories in which they want their advertisements to appear.

The abbreviated form of Pay Per Click is PPC. When a visitor clicks on a particular ad the advertiser has to pay money for that. Actually it is a kind of internet marketing. It allows you to get your website displayed on the SERP to attract attention of the viewers to your site when someone types in a particular phrase to the search engine. It is very helpful as it adds traffic to your website.
