Hi, ppc is pay per click. For Google Adwords this would be the amount that you bid for the keyword in the advertisement. It means that you pay that amount when someone clicks on your ad. Without this click you pay nothing.

Pay per click (PPC) (also called Cost per click) is an Internet advertising model used to direct traffic to websites, where advertisers pay the publisher (typically a website owner) when the ad is clicked. With search engines, advertisers typically bid on keyword phrases relevant to their target market. Content sites commonly charge a fixed price per click rather than use a bidding system. PPC "display" advertisements are shown on web sites with related content that have agreed to show ads. This approach differs from the "pay per impression" methods used in television and newspaper advertising.

PPC is Pay per click programs run by several companies. Google's PPC advertising network is known as Google AdWords. Advertisers pay Google for the clicks received on their ads in Google Search or their search/display networks.

There is lot to learn in Google Adwords. Good thing is to follow a step by step guide for effective learning and keep testing the things. Good Luck.

The scope of PPC is dependent on the market in which you are looking to advertise. PPC is Pay per click and different search engines have different platforms, for example, Google has AdWords. As Google have the majority of market share, this is what you need to be using to make a good start. It is a way of gaining first page positions in Google relatively quickly by bidding on keywords.

It is pretty hard to explain it in brief but there are plenty of tutorials and blog posts out there to help you.

Short for pay per click, PPC is an Internet marketing formula used to price online advertisements. In PPC programs the online advertisers will pay Internet Publishers the agreed upon PPC rate when an ad is clicked on, regardless if a sale is made or not. With pay per click in search engine advertising, the advertiser would typically bid on a keyword so the PPC rate changes. On single website or network of content websites the site publisher would usually set a fixed pay per click rate. Also called cost per click (CPC).

PPC is not as easy as adsence so a web developer with some seo skills will always go for adsence.

PPC is there as a short term gain for business who need to get traffic. I would definitely not recommend it as a long term solution as bidding wars can really drive down profit margins. Google Adwords is well made, and the 'Quality Score' aspect of it really does make it a lot fairer, although it is no replacement for good old fashioned SEO.

PPC stands for pay-per-click, a model of internet marketing in which advertisers pay a fee each time one of their ads is clicked. Essentially, it’s a way of buying visits to your site, rather than attempting to “earn” those visits organically.
